Guided By Paws Integrative Vet was founded in October 2025 by Dr. Tanya Higgins, DVM, at a meaningful crossroads in her veterinary journey. Drawing on years of experience as the founder of Davie Creek Animal Hospital (2012-2023), Dr. Higgins created Guiding by Paws with the vision of uniting advanced conventional veterinary medicine with holistic healing. Her goal is to build a compassionate, trusted practice that will grow into one of South Florida’s leading Integrative Veterinary centers, where animals and their families receive care that honors both science and spirit.
